CHILL FACTOR In this bedroom (left), a striking photograph of ice sheets in Antarctica by photographer Jason Kimberley speaks loudly against the moody backdrop. “The dark walls create an atmospheric room,” says Rebecca. “The palette has been kept very neutral, with bursts of colour in the photograph and red throw.” To add visual warmth, she introduced natural materials, such as stone, timber, wool and linen, and included ambient light sources, including the oversized table lamp, creating an inviting atmosphere using texture, while maintaining a refined colour scheme.
