SIZE IT UP

-

The bigger the mirror, the better, especially if you’ll be scrambling for mirror space during the morning rush. The key is balance. Your mirror should not extend beyond the width of your vanity, nor should it look too narrow. As for the height above the vanity, consider this interior designer rule of thumb. “I like to place the mirror 200mm above the vanity so that it is clear of any hob-mounted taps,” says Joumana Sukari. “This measurement can vary if the tap is wall-mounted, with one option being to fix the tap directly onto the mirror.”

wall-to-wall “A MIRROR CAN REFLECT LIGHT AND CREATE THE ILLUSION OF SPACE, PARTICULARLY IN A SMALL POWDER ROOM” ~ JOUMANA SUKARI, INTERIOR DESIGNER
