A MEDITERRANEAN FLAVOUR INFUSES INTERIOR DESIGNER AND ENTREPRENEUR GEORGIA EZRA’S

HOME, ESPECIALLY IN HER JOYFUL KITCHEN

The Spanish-mission style home interior architect Georgia Ezra shares with her husband Richard and their two young children showcases her impeccable eye for design, which often leans towards the exotic decor of the Mediterranean, while also celebrating the fruits of years of hard work. Georgia runs three businesses, interior design practice Studio Ezra, Tiles of Ezra and AHW Georgia Ezra. The latter is a collection of handmade clay table and cookware, alongside all the other things Georgia likes to fill her home with – including beautiful block-printed linens such as tea towels, cushions and bedlinen, relaxed apparel and now the launch of her wall sconces (below and right).

In her favourite room of the home – the open-plan kitchen and living area – you get a real sense of Georgia’s sensorial aesthetic, which she describes as “carefully curated, bespoke, unpretentious and European”.

“I think that a home decorated and curated over time, by sourcing and collecting pieces that speak to you the moment you see them, sparks such a sense of exclusivity, a warmth and energy that brandnew furniture cannot emulate,” says Georgia. Here’s how she did it.
