What trends have you seen lately?
“There’s been an introduction of colour into hard finishes and materials such as marble, painted cabinetry and more playful fabrics than we saw before.”
Where can people make a big impact?
“Colour can be introduced in so many ways, whether it be a brightly painted door which sets the tone for the or trims and architraves for a small pop. Coloured fabrics, such as upholstery on a wingback chair or bedlinen, are a great way to make a big impact with a fairly low cost.”
What tips would you give people who want to introduce more colour into their homes?
“Always look for hues that make you happy. If you’re new to this, introduce shades in low investment pieces like cushions, towels or bedlinen then build from there.”
We love the facade of the project you recently completed in Macedon, Victoria. Tell us about that?
“I took inspiration from the magnificent landscape.
The olive trees and their pots are from Julian Ronchi Garden Design & Nursery. The ginger jar is from a blue and white china supplier which has sadly closed but similar designs can be found at Orient House in Sydney.”
Why is green having such a moment right now?
“People are wanting to connect with the environment more than ever. It’s a clear reference of that and connects interiors with the landscape seamlessly.”
What upcoming projects are you excited about?
“Our clients love colours and prints so we’re excited to work with them in the coming months. We also have a family trip to Italy planned. I’m looking forward to soaking in the architecture, interiors and landscape and bringing that inspiration back to our clients.”
