Heart of the home: A palette inspired by landscapes creates an elegant kitchen system

-

Cantilever Interiors is an Australian kitchen design and manufacturing brand established in 2006. A design-led, product-focused company led by design principles for longevity, quality and sustainability, Cantilever’s unique design offer comprises five distinct kitchen systems that meet a variety of aesthetic, material and budget preferences.

Designed by Cantilever Interiors in collaboration with Kett of Cosh living, EDIT is the fifth kitchen system released by Cantilever since 2010.

A photography series by Cantilever Interiors creative director Kylie Forbes, influenced by the concept of meeting places and informed by landscapes where land and water meet, inspired the release of a series of distinct palette groups for EDIT.

EDIT combines a material suite of Australian and international natural stone, steel or ceramic benchtops with a series of stained veneer cabinets. Solid timber handles and detailing refine the design language of the product, pushing into new visual and sensory territory for the brand.

Bound by a strict service provision that elevates accountability and communication, Cantilever has built a strong reputation for the design and delivery of quality joinery with a distinct, influential aesthetic.

Cantilever designs, makes and installs its products into single and multiresidential projects Australia-wide, working with private and professional clients. The small team is led by founding director Travis Dean and creative director Kylie Forbes; together, they are committed to creating enduring spaces that connect families with their environment and reduce their impact through design and material sensitivity.

A boutique kitchen product, EDIT is on display at Cosh Living’s Richmond Showroom and retailed by Cantilever Interiors.
