Saniflo SFA has recently introduced the Sanialarm Interlock, a new product that has been designed to be used with most Saniflo products.
The Sanialarm Interlock was developed in response to the increased specification of pumps as an alternative solution for commercial office space repurposing, and the need to safeguard against flooding in the event of a power failure. Saniflo SFA has developed the Sanialarm Interlock as a complete plug-and-play alarm interlock package that doesn’t require an electrician for installation.
The Sanialarm Interlock has three functions: it sets off an audible alarm in the event of a critical issue, simultaneously shuts off incoming water supply to prevent flooding, and cuts the power supply to the dishwasher or washing machine.
The unit comes with a visual alarm, as well as a 100-decibel audio alarm. It’s simple to use and comes complete with a magnetic finger float switch, as well as the plug-and-play connection, which simply plugs into the bottom of the control panel. This system is also equipped with a low-voltage solenoid with pulse latch technology, which prevents the solenoid from burning out. This 12-volt solenoid uses significantly less power than the 240-volt option some other manufacturers use, which can result in the component gradually burning out.
The Sanialarm Interlock is ideal for commercial office kitchenettes. In the event of a high-level alarm fault, the Sanialarm Interlock locks out the power to the dishwasher and the water supply, ensuring workspaces are safeguarded against flooding.
