Dip your toes into a pink pond at NGV International this summer.
The pond is evocative of Australia’s inland salt lakes and will be paired with beds of Victorian wildflowers, encouraging visitors to consider the beauty and temporality of our natural ecology. Pond(er) is the winning design for the NGV’s 2021 Architecture Commission, and has been designed by architecture firm Taylor Knights with artist James Carey and landscape designer Ben Scott Garden Design.
