Deciding on the details

This is the phase in the process of the image where I begin to render and figure out the details I want to stay and others that I don’t need. I begin roughing in more areas like the cloak and foreground colours, to bring in some additional organic elements to the world I’m building in the painting. The painting seemingly really takes shape at this point.
