Character focus
Hello. I’ve been a long-time reader of Imaginefx and it has helped me improve my skills a lot. I have to say I got more out of the last issue than I have for a while. I really find characters difficult. Not so much the rendering of them but the design and concept, so it was a real pleasure to get some insights into these areas. The tutorial on designing unique creatures was ace too. Not the sort of thing I have thought much of but I really enjoyed it and will be trying out some of the tips in there. Thank you!

Characters can be a large part of the process for many artists, so we try to get some of that in the mag fairly frequently. Its great to hear from people who are benefitting from this, as well as hearing how we are sparking new ideas for artists.
