Franck Provost opened his first hair salon in 1975 in a chic suburb of Paris. In the more than 40 years since those humble beginnings the brand has grown exponentially to become the number one hair salon in France and is renowned worldwide, with almost 700 salons in 30 countries, servicing more than 10 million guests each year.

Franck Provost Paris began its Australian affair in 2008 with a salon in the heart of the Sydney CBD. Today there are 17 Franck Provost Paris hair salons around Australia.

The Australian operation also has its own training academy in Macquarie Street, Sydney, which is an extension of the Franck Provost Paris international academy based in Paris.

Australian women have embraced the brand’s unique trademark of accessible luxury since it launched 10 years ago; as a result the company has ambitious plans to mirror the same reputation that it enjoys in France on local shores to become Australia’s largest premium hair salon brand and adding to the global company’s already vast international portfolio.

“The Franck Provost Paris business model has proven highly successful across the globe, and it is our goal to continue to build the Australian operation in the coming years, ultimately making it the country’s leading hair salon group,” says Jean-François Carré, Franck Provost Paris Australia’s master franchisor, who is in charge of the expansion of the salon brand in Australia through franchising and opening corporate stores.
