Hannah - 2 Clint - 4 (plus the odd Red Bull)

The reno rookies from Townsville have a very steep learning curve ahead of them. With virtually no building experience, they are the babies this year, figuring it all out week by painful week. With giant hearts and a never-say-die attitude, Hannah and Clint will quickly become favourites.

The first few weeks were a total blur for this pair. The enormity of the build, the stress of the show and the trial-by-fire atmosphere caught them off-guard, forcing Hannah and Clint to reassess their game plans and come at the show from a different angle. Rooms were demolished and hearts were broken, but the couple powered through, tears and all, doing it for their kids – Hannah says the hardest part of the whole experience was leaving the kids for around three months. With a little sneaky ‘site’ research before the show began, it soon became clear that juggling all those trades in a small space would become one of their biggest hurdles. But the fact that these two newbies grit their teeth and power through (with a little help), means that Hannah and Clint could very well be the dark horses of the competition.
