AL+ EM ‘Cubby’ bedhead pinboard

DESIGNER: Emma Willis Frustrated by the lack of designer pinboards on the market, textile and interior designer Emma embarked on a new adventure. “When I was pregnant with my daughter in 2010, I decided to go out on my own and create a business that offered an amazing product that wasn’t already on the market,” she says. “The smaller pinboards took off, and bedheads were the next venture.” The Cubby bedhead was inspired by Emma’s nephews. “They had an amazing cubby house and just adored it,” she says. “Whenever we would visit, my daughter loved it just as much. I thought it would be cool for the kids to be able to enjoy a similar experience in their bedroom, so I designed the bedhead to replicate the roof of their little house.” Designed and made in Australia, the lightweight Cubby attaches easily to the wall using 3M Command picturehanging strips.
