Who lives here: The Block favourites Kara and Kyal Demmrich – now appearing on Channel Ten’s The Living Room and co-owners of Diverse Design & Construct – and their 18-month-old son Ziya. Style of home: Once a dark and dated ’60s fibro shack on the NSW Central Coast, the property has been extended and transformed into a contemporary family home with light-drenched spaces, natural materials and a laid-back sense of style. The project took nine months from design to completion. The cost of the renovation was $$$$ approximately $800,000.
