The staircase makes a striking backdrop to the dining area. “Because it sits rightr in the middle of the living zone and kitchen, it had to be a pretty big focus,” says Casey. The glass wall disappears to create the illusion of hanging stairs. The area beneath the stairs is kitted out with kitchen and dining storage, as well as the fridge and laundry. “I love how everything is concealed,” says Casey. “This one whole wall just looks like the staircase, but everything is there.”
