+ “To have natural materials around us. There’s a tactility to all the timber – it feels very real and raw,” says Sam. Sarah adds, “Nothing too shiny. One of our rules was no chrome at all.” + “A calm space that was relaxing to come home to after a day of work. You feel so in touch with the bush that you’re almost outside,” says Sam. + “The island bench always ends up being the heart of our home. We wanted something that was going to be substantial, sculptural and feel like a piece of furniture,” says Sarah. + “We wanted to embrace passive solar design principles,” says Sarah.
