7 dark natural stone for benchtops & cabinets

Marble and stone are still popular, but the darker marbles took centrestage. The contrast of the lighter veins against a darker backdrop was a noticeable trend. This was often teamed with large walls of glass, or light timber and tiled floors. In the Boffi showroom (below) at Fuorisalone, stone was also used for the door and drawer fronts, resulting in a monolithic look.
