There was a clear nod towards an industrial aesthetic at this year’s EuroCucina, which makes sense as the kitchen is a room that’s all about function. Fluted and wired glass was an interesting industrial material used in various contexts, including glass-topped base cabinet units, allowing visible, safe and easily accessible storage solutions. Another industrial element was the use of grid shapes within the design. These worked well paired with this year’s marble and textured timber finishes.
