Ordering fittings, fixtures and materials well in advance isn’t something the couple were aware of before embarking on the renovation. “It wasn’t a major issue, but it taught us patience,” says Sara. As a result, the pair will consider this for their second phase. “We realised that we need to have all the bits and bobs ordered ahead of time to be ready for the trades to get stuck in when their schedules free up.”
