The advice

The lovely Federation house was built before the turn of the last century and has been used by the local water authority in some capacity for almost all of that time. It’s been subjected to a patchwork of alterations over the past 120 years – most recently the conversion of the back verandah into indoor space – leaving the floor plan rather strange. But there’s no denying its quirky charm and intriguing location, which is a catalyst for spurring creative thinking. There is so much potential here. Ally is keen to bring her home into the 21st century. It’s just a case of working out what can be done.
