Summer plant climbing beans from seed and they’ll be ready to pick in about 10 weeks. Autumn plant broad beans from seed and they will be ready to harvest in 18 weeks. Winter plant spinach or silver beet from seedlings and you’ll be eating it in 6 weeks.
