“At one point, we were so tired of making decisions that we defaulted to the safest options. In retrospect, we would have loved to have taken on some bolder choices. For example, in the kitchen, we just went for white cabinetry but, on reflection, we would have loved to take a chance with some coloured cabinetry instead.”
