Amber Creswell Bell is an art curator, a writer of books on the arts, a speaker and an enthusiast­ic creative hustler. She champions emerging and under-represente­d artists and ceramicist­s, curating exhibition­s independen­tly and with well-establishe­d commercial galleries. Amber is currently the creative director of Michael Reid Northern Beaches gallery, curating both the emerging art and ceramics programs. Amber’s first book, Clay (2016), showcased more than 50 contempora­ry ceramic artisans from Australia and abroad. Her second book, A Painted Landscape (2018), profiled the work of 50 Australian landscape painters. Amber's newly released hardcover book, Ken Done: Art Design Life, is published by Thames & Hudson with a retail price of $80.
