PO­LICE last week charged three men af­ter a traf­fic stop in Con­nolly al­legedly un­cov­ered thou­sands of dol­lars of metham­phetamine. Of­fi­cers stopped a car about 3pm on Hodges Drive on March 27. Po­lice al­lege they dis­cov­ered about 14.75g of metham­phetamine in the ve­hi­cle. Fur­ther in­quiries led po­lice to charge three peo­ple with more than 50 of­fences re­lat­ing to drugs, bur­glary and theft. Of­fi­cers charged a Heathridge man (31) with 16 of­fences, in­clud­ing five counts of ag­gra­vated bur­glary and two counts of of­fer­ing to sell metham­phetamine. A Clark­son man (33) was charged with eight of­fences, in­clud­ing pos­ses­sion of drugs with in­tent to sell or sup­ply. A By­ford man (35) was charged with 27 of­fences, in­clud­ing 11 counts of fraud and nine counts of theft.
