POLICE last week charged three men after a traffic stop in Connolly allegedly uncovered thousands of dollars of methamphetamine. Officers stopped a car about 3pm on Hodges Drive on March 27. Police allege they discovered about 14.75g of methamphetamine in the vehicle. Further inquiries led police to charge three people with more than 50 offences relating to drugs, burglary and theft. Officers charged a Heathridge man (31) with 16 offences, including five counts of aggravated burglary and two counts of offering to sell methamphetamine. A Clarkson man (33) was charged with eight offences, including possession of drugs with intent to sell or supply. A Byford man (35) was charged with 27 offences, including 11 counts of fraud and nine counts of theft.
