POLICE charged four people after a shooting incident at Kingsway City recently. A WA Police spokeswoman said the incident happened about 9.40pm on April 7 in Madeley. She said investigations were continuing. “The occupants of two vehicles met in the car park of a shopping centre located on Hepburn Avenue,” she said. “It is alleged that an occupant in one vehicle fired a single shot at the other vehicle before both vehicles left the area.“Detectives were able to stop one vehicle on Hepburn Avenue in Marangaroo and the five occupants were taken into custody. No one was injured during the shooting. Police allegedly discovered methamphetamine when they searched the vehicle. Police have charged a Marangaroo man with drug possession and being armed to cause fear. A Bertram man was charged with not having authority to drive and giving false particulars. A Bertram woman (18) and a Tuart Hill man (27) were charged with drug offences.
