WAR­WICK Green­wood trav­elled south in Metro Foot­ball League ac­tion at the week­end and re­turned home nar­row win­ners, de­feat­ing Dwellingup 12.13 (85) to 12.9 (81).

The club’s di­vi­sion 2 team went down to north­ern sub­urbs ri­val Brighton. The Seahawks won 11.7 (73) to 7.7 (49).

Full for­ward Corey Green­wood bagged four goals for the win­ners af­ter tak­ing up play­ing from um­pir­ing.

War­wick Green­wood has a dou­ble-header at Balga’s Barry Brit­ton Re­serve this Sun­day.

It hosts Kelm­scott in di­vi­sion 1 at 2.30pm and faces Balga in di­vi­sion 2 at noon.

Brighton plays Beech­boro at Al­tone Park in Beech­boro this Sun­day at noon.

The Seahawks train Tues­day and Thurs­day at Kings­bridge Re­serve, But­ler at 6pm.
