Ump comes up trumps
WARWICK Greenwood travelled south in Metro Football League action at the weekend and returned home narrow winners, defeating Dwellingup 12.13 (85) to 12.9 (81).
The club’s division 2 team went down to northern suburbs rival Brighton. The Seahawks won 11.7 (73) to 7.7 (49).
Full forward Corey Greenwood bagged four goals for the winners after taking up playing from umpiring.
Warwick Greenwood has a double-header at Balga’s Barry Britton Reserve this Sunday.
It hosts Kelmscott in division 1 at 2.30pm and faces Balga in division 2 at noon.
Brighton plays Beechboro at Altone Park in Beechboro this Sunday at noon.
The Seahawks train Tuesday and Thursday at Kingsbridge Reserve, Butler at 6pm.
