Top cop fined for speeding
POLICE Commissioner Chris Dawson was photographed speeding as he drove to Joondalup Police Academy last month.
He was recorded driving his private car at 59km/h in a 50km/h zone on Plain Street in East Perth as he drove to the National Police Remembrance Day Service on September 28.
A statement acknowledging his mistake last week said he paid the $100 fine when he received the infringement.
He has no demerit points on his licence.
