Bank shows compassion
A JOONDALUP-based charity that helps men learn life skills has received a grant from Bankwest.
Northern Compassion runs a residential selfhelp program at Tenacious House that focuses on helping men overcome issues such as anxiety, addiction and depression.
The centre recently received $1000 from the bank as part of its easy grant program.
“As part of our program, we help men learn life skills, including cooking, cleaning and budgeting,” operations manager Mark Brown said.
“We’re so grateful for this grant as it’s enabled us to buy a new washing machine for the centre.”
