MEERILINGA Family Centre in High Wycombe has been named a WA finalist at this year’s Australian Early Education and Care Awards.
The centre is amongst four other finalists from WA who will now represent the state at the national judging interviews in Sydney next month.
The state winners were selected after being reviewed by the judging panel and demonstrating their achievements in improving the wellbeing of the children, improving the children’s program, improving the early childhood service, ongoing professional learning and development, and improving inclusive interactions and partnerships with families.
Each of these five key areas are aligned with the National Quality Standards, which are Federal Governmentmandated professional standards for children’s services and regulated by Australian Children’s Education and Care Authority.
The national winners will be announced on Friday, June 15.
