Experienced geologist heads Torian exploration team
The Zuleika shear is fast becoming a second home for geologist Lyndal Money, who has taken on a new role as Torian Resources’ general manager of exploration.
She knows the area north-west of Kalgoorlie-Boulder like the back of her hand after spending three years with Phoenix Gold, which has built a 4Moz gold inventory along the Zuleika shear.
It will come in handy as Torian — headed by well-known geologist Matt Sullivan, who is credited with the Kanowna Belle discovery in 1989 — pushes on with drilling until Christmas.
Torian’s Zuleika joint venture comprises 191sqkm — the southern tenement boundary is 5km north of Northern Star’s rich Raleigh mine and 8km north of Evolu- tion Mining’s newly acquired Frog’s Leg mine.
Ms Money’s geology career started in 1994 at the Union Reefs gold mine in the Northern Territory, but also includes stints with Kalgoorlie-based MacPhersons Resources and with Sons of Gwalia.
