Two held on drug charge

Two Perth men have been charged with pos­ses­sion of metham­phetamine with in­tent to sell or sup­ply, af­ter Kal­go­or­lie de­tec­tives al­legedly found them with 165.65g of meth.

About 3am on Tues­day, po­lice stopped a BMW sedan on the Great Eastern High­way 15km west of Kal­go­or­lie-Boul­der.

Po­lice searched the car and al­legedly found the traf­fi­ca­ble quan­tity of meth.

A 29-year-old Alki­mos man and a 20-year-old In­naloo man have been charged with pos­sess­ing a traf­fi­ca­ble quan­tity of meth with in­tent to sell or sup­ply.

The Alki­mos man has also been charged with pos­sess­ing a pro­hib­ited drug and both men will ap­pear in the Perth Mag­is­trate’s Court on De­cem­ber 18.
