Boys on bur­glary charges

PO­LICE have charged two Rock­ing­ham boys with sev­eral bur­glar­ies af­ter they al­legedly stole money, jewellery and small elec­tronic de­vices from homes and a pri­mary school.

Po­lice be­lieve the boys com­mit­ted sev­eral bur­glar­ies in the Rock­ing­ham area dur­ing the day on Satur­day, May 5 and Sun­day, May 6.

An 11-year-old Cooloongup boy was charged with ag­gra­vated home bur­glary, bur­glary and com­mit, and two counts of steal­ing.

A 10-year-old Rock­ing­ham boy was charged with at­tempted ag­gra­vated home bur­glary with in­tent, two counts of ag­gra­vated home bur­glary and com­mit, ag­gra­vated bur­glary and com­mit, and three counts of steal­ing.

Both boys will ap­pear in Rock­ing­ham Chil­dren’s Court on June 6.

Some elec­tri­cal items, cash and jewellery were re­cov­ered.

A watch be­long­ing to a vic­tim’s de­ceased hus­band was found and was re­turned by po­lice.

A vic­tim has her prop­erty re­turned by Con­sta­ble Lar­son­Pearse.
