WELLARD de­signer Hanae Meyer is pre­par­ing for the Made on the Left Christ­mas Mar­kets com­ing soon.

The de­signer will be show­cas­ing her orig­i­nal art­work and de­signs in­clud­ing wa­ter­colour, lino prints, riso prints, hand­made cards and hand-painted brooches.

Mayer has been run­ning her stall Hanae Meyer of Spon­thanae­ity for the past three years.

“I en­joy the mar­ket en­vi­ron­ment be­cause peo­ple get to see you make the pieces and you can talk to peo­ple face to face,” she said.

“It’s more per­sonal and I get to ex­plain the dif­fer­ent medi­ums I use.”

Wellard artist Jo Price will be sell­ing hand­made art glass cheese plat­ters and bowls, and me­tal sculp­tures of the fe­male torso.

Ore­lia res­i­dent Ka­reena Pre­ston, of Kri:ei’tiv­iti, will dis­play all-nat­u­ral cold process soap, lip balms, bath bombs and bath soaks.
