Deni Ute Muster huge loss

Those who attend the annual Deni Ute Muster may find this hard to digest but last year’s event ran at a loss of more than half a million dollars.

The crowd’s reaction to alcohol service licensing halfway through the event and lower ticket sales from the local area have been offered as the main reasons for the dramatic fall in the event’s popularity. But organisers have assured the event will go on and under new chair, local businessman Russell Tait, who is keen to restore the iconic event to its former glory.
