Police warn farmers about security after $15,000 theft
KYABRAM Police are urging farmers to be vigilant and ensure their machinery is locked or secured after a Lancaster dairy farmer had $15,000 worth of machinery stolen from a Ryans Rd property.
Police believe two males were disturbed at 3.30am on July 19 as they were attempting to steal machinery and other items from the property.
One of the offenders left on a stolen Suzuki quadbike while the other drove off in a sedan.
Anyone with information call Shepparton criminal investigation unit on 5820 5777. ■ A 22-year-old drunk driver was uninjured after his vehicle ran off the road and into a table drain at 3.30am on July 22.
The Irish international visitor accompanied police to the Kyabram Police station where he returned a blood alcohol concentration of .151.

The fox terrier chased a fox into the drainage pipe in Koyuga and became trapped. The animal’s owners attempted to free the dog but called the SES at about 10am yesterday morning.
