OUR next pokie trip is on Sunday to the Mulwala Ski Club.

The bus leaves Kyabram at 9am and Merrigum at 9.15am.

We have morning tea at Katamatite and a lovely two course meal at the club. You get all of this, plus the bus trip, plus the chance to win a raffle prize on the way home for just $5. You don’t have to play the machines; some people knit, others read a book, some go for a walk or simply sit and socialise.

If you would like to join us simply ring Betty Thomson on 5853 1684 or Joe Chant on 0428 552 466.

There’s been good news this week with club treasurer, Pat Hubble, agreeing to another term. The club really appreciates Pat’s gesture as she lives in Shepparton and this makes it difficult to do banking etc. Thanks Pat.

Thursday bowls will continue as usual. Players will be notified if the weather is too inclement or the green cannot be prepared because the ground staff are not available. All bowlers and beginners are welcome. People pay a gold coin donation to cover the cost of the afternoon tea. Coaches are available all you need to do is turn up at 12.45pm in flat soled shoes.
