UP AT Tocumwal there is a big emphasis on the Murray River town’s rich history.

The local Lions and Rotary clubs agreed some years ago to recognise a man called Edward Hillson, considered one of the founders of the town who was laid to rest in the local cemetery.

Time hadn’t been kind to his headstone but that has been rectified through fundraising efforts and he has now got the recognition he deserves.
