I recently asked two mates the same hypothetical question and their answers were very interesting.

This is the question I asked.

You have $400 and your daughter calls and needs $250. Later on, your son calls and asks for $100. What do you have left?

The first mate (who I consider to be very intelligent) answered, $50.

The second one said, ‘‘I’d have $400 and two missed calls.’’

I can’t decide which one is correct. Hooroo!!!
