“And while we showed a lot of improvement yesterday as the game went on, that's going to keep happening. We will continue to get used to our partnerships and how we work on the court together.”
Wade said the addition of Amelia Brock was already proving to be a standout addition for the season.
“Having her up forward is a really good focal point,” she said.
“That height gives a target that can work to, and learning to utilise her is big for us.
“We also had a strong showing from our defenders on the court forcing turnovers and setting us up. It was a really good team performance.”
