Murder charge

Caniambo man Andrew Robert Paterson has been remanded in custody until January 18 after facing Shepparton Magistrates’ Court on August 6 on a charge of murder.

The charge follows an incident about 8.50pm on August 5 when Numurkah man Richard Paul Devlin was fatally shot outside his property.

Mr Devlin was the operations executive manager of the Moira Shire.
