Veterans golf put on hold
The Goulburn Valley Veteran Golfers Association has suspended the 2021 syllabus until further notice.
It is unlikely that regional Victoria, especially the Goulburn Valley, will open up to competitive sport any time soon due to the ongoing COVID-19 lockdown.
With new local COVID-19 cases reported each day, it is a testing time for the whole community.
The GVVGA committee will monitor the regular announcements and directions by Victoria’s Chief Health Officer and advise if and when play can resume. Planning for its 2022 program is proceeding.
The committee said it was grateful to all those citizens, families and friends, who were in isolation at home and hope they are receiving the support to meet their daily needs.
