-

A blitz to get the state's Year 12 students vaccinated before exams start in October has been announced by the Victorian Government.

The campaign — running from Tuesday, September 7, to Friday, September 17 — aims to provide at least one vaccine dose to final-year secondary school students, their teachers and exam supervisors.

More information regarding the booking process has been provided to schools by the Victorian Department of Health and Human Services, to be passed on to parents and students.

VCE exams are scheduled to start in October, with the English exam on Wednesday, October 27.

The General Achievement Test is scheduled for October 5.

Currently, vaccines are available at hospitals, general practitioner clinics and pharmacies.
