Medal night held virtually

The presentati­on night for the Goulburn Valley League was held virtually on Tuesday.

The Morrison Medal — for the best and fairest senior footballer across the campaign — and Wellman Family Medal — awarded to the best and fairest A-grade netballer — highlighte­d the evening.

Kyabram players featured heavily across the night, with Zac Keogh (15 votes) and Zac Norris (10) finishing in the top four of the Morrison Medal count.

Kyle Mueller again took out the Steve O’toole Leading Goalkicker award in the senior football ranks with 34 majors.

Sean Dillon was involved in a thrilling Abikhair Medal race, finishing tied for the crown on 14 votes in the reserves football competitio­n.

Dillon also took out the reserves football Most Valuable Player award.

Adam Pulsoni finished in the top five of the under-18 football count with eight votes.

In the netball ranks, Rachel Mccormack polled 15 votes to finish second in the B-reserve grade, while Alyssa Trebilcock was on the podium in the 17-and-under competitio­n with 19 votes.

Isla Carver finished fourth in the 15-and-under count on 14 votes.
