Tonny pacer is full of success

- By Gus Underwood

Tongala trained pacer Fullofmischief made it four wins from his last six starts - all in the space of less than six weeks - when he saluted at last week’s Charlton meeting.

The Michael Watt-prepared five-year-old son of Major Bronski, driven by concession reinsman Jordan Leedham, stalked the pacesetter, the locally-trained Cee Cee In America and got up along the inside in the home stretch to run away from his rivals at the finish to post his seventh career win in just 28 career starts.

Fullofmischief also posted a personal best in his dashing win, rating 1.55.1 for the 2190m trip.

Stanhope trainer Greg Lewis enjoyed a win with pacer Little Demon at the recent Cobram meeting.

With Abbey Turnbull in the sulky Little Demon blasted from the gate from barrier six over the 1670m trip to take over the front-running role and ran her rivals ragged in 1.58.3 mile-rate time.

Those who risked some of their hard earned on the three-year-old son of Modern Art no doubt were happy with the win as he was a 20/1 shot on the tote.

Little Demon caught the eye at his previous and second race start when he finished a close-up fifth at the Echuca meeting on September 9.
