$2 million saving at KDHS
Kyabram District Health Service is set to save $2 million in the lifetime of its solar PV system.
Coupled with the saving is a carbon offset of 7000 tonnes (equivalent of 29,692 trees planted) over the life of the system.
So, it is no surprise Kyabram District Health Service is ecstatic with its 200 kwh system installed by Energis.
The solar panel system will allow KDHS to decrease its carbon emissions by 17 per cent every year.
The project was supported with funding from the Victorian Health Building Authority in the Department of Health, and procured through Healthshare Victoria.
The KDHS facilities team managed the project.
