Noise Device in the Port

-

Destructive birds are creating problems in Echuca’s Port Precinct. Corellas, along with sulphur-crested cockatoos and galahs, are ripping and gnawing at both furniture and buildings, causing extensive damage. To deter these birds from the Port area, and therefore lessen the amount of damage, Council will be utilising a noise device. Starting from Monday, 7 March, the noise device will be used daily between 7 – 7.20am, and again from 7.40 – 8pm in the evenings, going off at random intervals.
