SYDNEY METRO STAGE ONE COMPLETE

The first leg of Sydney’s new driverless Sydney Metro railway project is finished, with new train stations and surrounding landscapes. Hassell designed the architecture and landscape architecture for all eight of the new stations in the first stage of the project. The work includes improvements to the stations’ entrance precincts, a park beneath an elevated section of the railway and a large-scale public art project.
