Hobart Legacy Park Community Hub — Playce JURY COMMENT
The inclusive design of Legacy Park in Hobart acknowledges that anyone, at any age, may wish to play. Parkour equipment, natural play spaces and clustered fitness spaces have been integrated to offer accessible ways for all generations to engage in activities that promote better health and wellbeing. Additional facilities, including a woodfired pizza oven with dining pavilion, amphitheatre and open lawn spaces, make it clear that Legacy Park has been designed with the community in mind. This project is a shining example of the numerous benefits of intergenerational play spaces.
