By foregrounding the agency of design, McGregor Coxall, Wave Consulting and the City of Melbourne have not only offered ambitious strategies for the future of the creek but also developed a model for advocacy that emphasizes the ability of landscape architecture to draw attention to, research, reconsider and speculate about the future of our waterways and cities.

The plan offers a compelling vision for this combined waterway and freeway system in Melbourne’s north.

The evocative imagery used throughout helps to embody the vision for a reinvigorated waterway once again teeming with life.
