Jury comment
Central Park Public Domain is a significant legacy project, a distinctive and richly layered urban landscape set to be enjoyed by Sydneysiders for years to come. This new collection of spaces, in its scale and arrangement, materiality, historic references and pedestrian connectivity, deftly stitches new uses and forms together with the old city fabric and the memories it evokes. The outcome is a celebration of the public realm, reflecting this project’s careful execution, from masterplan through to staged delivery.
