PATHFINDER TOOL

Canadian practice CMG Landscape Architecture’s Climate Positive Design project aims to improve the carbon impact of the built environment through collective action. Launched in 2019, the initiative sets the goal of taking more carbon out of the atmosphere than emitted in designed landscapes and offers tools and resources toward achieving this goal. The project includes Pathfinder, a free app that provides project-specific guidance on how to reduce a design’s carbon footprint while increasing carbon sequestration.
